Doug Simpson’s track featured on hit television series

Doug Simpson’s track “Numb” featuring Kareem Knight can be heard in the Freeform/ABC hit comedy grown-ish starring Yara Shahidi, the spin-off show from ABC’s black-ish. The song supports a scene in episode 11 of the show’s first season. “Numb” is from Doug Simpson’s project Rough Draught, a collection of songs from the music producer featuring DJ Illside (“Good Times”), Mr. Wonderful (“Rules of Engagement”), and Coole High (“Above The Clouds”).

Don’t miss grown-ish, wednesdays at 8pm/7c on Freeform.

About grownish: From black-ish executive producer, Kenya Barris, comes a contemporary take on the current issues facing both students and administrators in the world of higher education. Yara Shahidi portrays Zoey – Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Rainbow’s (Tracee Ellis Ross) popular, entitled, stylish and socially active 17-year-old daughter — as she heads off to college and quickly discovers that not everything goes her way once she leaves the nest.
