ASCAP Award-winning producer, songwriter, composer and recording artist Doug Sxmpson’s catalog has spanned network and cable television, documentaries as well as independent and major motion pictures. His work has been featured on Blue Bloods (CBS), Millionaire Matchmaker (VH1), Cribs, Pimp My Ride, Super Sweet Sixteen, Made, True Life (MTV, MTV2), Ray Donovan (Showtime), First Look: Straight Outta Compton (HBO), Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6 & Despicable Me 2. The Bronx, New York native’s work demonstrates a sound deeply influenced by both Hip-Hop & his Caribbean roots.
As a public speaker, Doug has shared his insight, knowledge & a deep love of all things music related across the US from middle & high school events to participating, coordinating & speaking at music conferences such as A3C, iStandard & the ASCAP Expo.
Doug continues to compose, write & record music for film & television, most recently having his work featured in USA’s Temptation Island, VICE’s Hustle, FreeForm’s Grown-ish (ABC) and as composer and music supervisor for One Bedroom.
